You might also want to consider Orem, rated #63 by "cnnmoney.com" (Best places to live 2008 - Orem, UT - from MONEY Magazine). They're both about 45 minutes away from Salt Lake City International, which is a Delta Airlines hub.
Thanks for the info. I read somewhere that Ogden's crime was a little high have you heard the same thing?

Nomianca is on a distinguished road
Ogdens' crime rate, from what I have also heard, is high. I have heard it several times over and over. There was just a double murder there this last weekend.

It's funny..I have also heard that St. George and Logan are "best cities" lol!

Crime rate is high in Ogden..not so much in North Ogden. At least it was when I lived in Utah. I knew a guy that worked for the Police Dept. Maybe it's changed in the last year since I left. Ogden would not be the city I would live in if I had a choice. Layton is where I lived, Kaysville, Syracuse, Farmington, Bountiful....all really nice

Well if you are looking for a major airport, you should stay near st. george...only 1.5 hours to McCarran in Vegas...St. George has an airport, but it's small, propjets and extremely expensive...flights take you to LA or SLC, then you connect to wherever you are going...I know there will be a new airport in a few years, bigger but I still don't think you can beat Vegas for convenience and price of flights...

BTW we have our home for sale, anyone interested, we just dropped the price, we are packed and ready to go...d.m. me if interested, we are in Green Spring area of Washington City, in greater St. George area....
