LOL. If you think Utah is bad, then you must not have experienced many other places besides the Beehive State. Trust me, compared to other places in the U.S, and in the world.... Utah is Heaven. Illegal immigration is a NATIONAL problem, and needs to be dealt with as such, before we can truely take control in each state.

As far as high crime goes.... visit East L.A. in broad DAYLIGHT sometime. It will make walking in Salt Lake City after dark, feel like Disneyland.

You think Utah is a mess..... come to Europe sometime. Oh gosh, don't even get me started. Travel the U.S, and you will be thanking your lucky stars for Utah. Travel the world .... and you will be kissing the ground when you get back to America. Although Utah isn't my top choice for places to live.... I would pick it ANY DAY over England.

Calibelle, I think Cottonwoods' statements about the high crime rate ect.. are a humorous attempt to disuade people from coming to Utah and ruining the state.

I don't think he was saying that Utah is a bad place, but that newcomers are bringing it down.

Crime and illegal immigration is everywhere, not just Utah. One reason why I'm moving to Utah is because it's lower in crime than where I live. You should be happy that the economy is driving people to come to the state; that is how it will thrive!!!

He's a decent writer for a 14 year old, but he's too young to see the big picture. He is right on several points though.

Obviously you haven't been to Atlanta. Crime is high. We had 107 murders in 2006. SLC had 8 in 2006.

I am not bitter, I am attempting to be realistic.
