Don't come to utah. It is a mess here. We have high crime. We have a soccer stadium being built that will rob the state of money and put the team into banckrupcy. We also have an illegal immigration problem that is reaching a boiling point. Get out now before it's too late.

I dont know why so many people are compelled to move to Utah. If you are that scared then stay in your misserable state. Many of you make it sound as though Utah is begging for you to move there. As you move in the crime rate goes up and the quality of life goes down. Next you will infiltrate the Utah newspapers and schools to influence a conservative culture that you hate. I hate to say it but deep down I know Utah will never be the same.

Youre right,it will never be the same here. I remember how great it used to be here before we started to develop nd get all of these new people here. The government isnt doing anything about it and it sickens me.

I just want you to know cottonwood2420 that I have started a disinformation campaign when I am in California. I love telling people how terrible Southern Utah is. I am as suttle as possible so it seems believable.
Can you imagine how bad it is going to get in CA when the economy drops out? We have had many years of prosperity and people still have a hard time not being cut throat. Our realestate is tanking and it is going to get bad. Sorry for the doom and gloom but I have allways been good at seeing the writeing on the wall. I wish I had a way of keeping Vegas and LA out of Southern Utah. Utah has been discovered.

Well that is unnacceptable. Just because california has a major major immingration problem does'nt mean that they have to ruin other states. California had problem's anyway long before this occured.

The reason so many people are moving here from California is simple. Low housing and so many available jobs!!! I've been here a month, and would love to move back to California. It is so much better there than here...people know how to drive...when you walk into a business/a bank/ a restaurant..etc..the people working there know what Customer Service is! Your neighbors mind their own business and don't bother you.
Yes, California has some major problems, immigration, high crime, and it is a "Nanny" state, but it's still better than living in Utah!

So you would rather live in a place where neighboors don't bother you well fine. My grandpa lives in a neighboorhood in West Valley where people say hello to you annd look out for each other. They have brought christmas presents every year. The kitchen counter is a mountain every year. They even will shovel your driveway and sidewalks if you don't get to it first. Last month a neighboor from down the street came over almost every morning it snowed in december and he shoveled the sidewalks the driveway leading to the backyard and even the walks without being asked or payed. There are even some people that live just below him and they are very lazy. They don't keep up their yard in the summer and they don't shovel in the winter. I shoveld their sidewalk to the crosswalk at the top of the street without being asked or payed. That is what every neighboorhood should be. A group of people looking out for each other. It is like a small family.

And this hospility is in Utah? Then whats so bad about Utah besides the illegals? Cant one live in a suburb of low crime and avoid the big cities where all the crime congegrates?
