I noticed the slow Utah drivers when a visited St George today.
People it seems must follow the speed limit, something unheard of in the Las Vegas area. Also, the seem to take turns so very slow as if there is nobody behind them!

That reminded me of something else they (SLC drivers) do. Often times when making turns into a parking lot they essentially stop to avoid scrapping the bottom of their car on the edge of the runoff. I can't tell you how many times I've had to slam on my brakes to stop from t-boning a driver who did this. They are doing the opposite of what they should, they are expecting you to slow down for them. They should be calculating that slow down "I don't wanna rip my bumper off time" into when they make their turn. Not expect on coming traffic to do it for them.

Utah drivers are idiots. I saw one guy make it halfway up an on-ramp to I-15, change his mind, and try to back up off the ramp!!! We have a term for these people...Utards!

I remember years ago the first time I heard that word. It is so fitting. It describes many Utahns' bad driving habits.

Yep, moved to Cedar City from California and saw some pretty insane driving from SLC on our trip up there.

I think the fact this state has the highest anti-depressant prescriptions and bad driving go hand in hand here. I'm not LDS, I enjoy my beer and the occasional glass of wine, and I'm the happiest person on my block.
