Not at all!!
We went home for my brother's wedding and experienced the humidity.
People in our family asked if the humidity was worse in Tampa, bit we find NO is a lot worse!
I take it you have been to NOLA?

Are there any other transplants in UT from Louisiana or Florida?
I'd like to hear how living in UT is.

We live in Ogden, UT (and inside Hill AFB before that) and I had no problems being non-LDS. My daughter said she has never been asked at school about her religion. Most of her friends are Mormons and it never really bothered her/them. I have also never had problems about people knocking on my door.
But to be honest, Utah is not the place I plan on staying long-term. Not a lot of diversity. Plus, I'm not really an outdoorsy person (Utah is a great place if you love to hike, camp, run, snowboard, etc etc). I'd rather live in a bigger city where most establishments are open on Sundays. But that's just me.

Yes, many of them are, and for people who are used to doing a lot of their shopping on Sundays, I can see where this would be a problem. The outdoors remains wide open, though!

yeah we were used to sundays off when we did some shopping and just generally ran around getting stuff done. Some areas as worse then others but sundays suck overall, if your not outside. Its so freaking hot outside right now though that i wouldnt be willing to do a whole ton. I Work outside and im getting quite sunburnt haha
