It is quiet around here! I too am ready for the ski season-in fact my first day is tuesday up at Solitude. i will report in about the conditions-or lack there of! I have really been enjoying bein out of doors though-it will all be over soon...

It was mid-70s in Sugar House when I went out today! And what was it, 2 weeks ago we had snow on the ground? Crazy UT weather!

Are any of the ski resorts open yet? Just curious. I know the weather has been great there. Usually when I visit you have a big storm after, so beware lol
Hope to do some skiing in January, so hopefully the mountains will get an enormous amount of snow.

Depending on where you were, you got several inches of snow today. Didn't stick to the streets/sidewalks but is staying on the ground. Sugar House got about 2 inches.

it has been cold enough down here in salem the last few nights that my nose hairs and beard were freezing together when i was outside on my nightly walk with the dog. 2º F the night before last at 11pm, and last night was 6º at 8:45pm. to go along with the cold temperatures, i have 14 inches of snow in my yard.

time to move to southern utah.

Is this unusually cold? This is our first winter here, it does seem colder than we had thought.
