Talking From Louisiana to Bear River City

I'm being transferred out to Bear River City to support the new plant being built. I will be moving from Louisiana, I will be moving out before my husband and part of my family, I am bring the 8 month old with me. I am looking for the best place and safest place to stay at.Brigham City looks nice.....is it? I've also looked in Tremonton but it seems hard to get away from the railroad tracks.

I also would like to know if anyone knows about the special education programs in the area. And where would be the best schools for that (he is in the 4th grade)?

Are there any good daycares in the area?

Sorry for all the question.......never been this far away from my husband.

any and all help would be great

Either city should be pretty safe. Tremonton is smaller and farther away from the bigger cities.

I wouldn't go to BRC to live. In general the rule of thumb in Utah is, if you don't want the LDS people to shun you and everything, stay out of the really small towns. Tremonton would most likely be the better bet for you, and if it's not too far, look into Brigham City too.
