Default moving to Lehi area

Hi all
My family and I are all born and breed in Scotland and have been given the opportunity to move to Lehi Utah. I have been recently offered a new job and my wife, child and I will have to move out in the next couple of months.
I have been on the internet looking at Lehi and it looks great but most of the sites deal with its history or stats. What is Lehi like to live and bring a family? My wife and I are both in our 30’s with a 1 year old son. Were the best areas to live etc?
Regards
Eddie

Eddie,
Lehi is a great place to raise a family. It is a beautiful, safe, town that has experienced tons of growth over the past few years. Lehi occupies a fairly large land area, and there are many dimensions to the city. I personally like the Northern end of the valley a little better. It is on higher ground and the higher end realestate tends to be in this area. (although this may be changing) Lehi is predominately a Mormon community, and if you are Mormon this will work out well. If you are not Mormon it may or may not require some adjustment on your part. The Mormon community is what makes Lehi a strong, family-oriented community, but its influence can be seen in almost all aspects of day to day living. (For good and for bad) Utah has reasonable schools, though the large families create a small tax-base for the number of students and Utah spends one of the least per pupil of any state in the country. Utah has moderate taxes, but very low property taxes when compared to other states in America. Winters are cold and snow is a part of day to day life in the winter. Summers can be hot and dry with temperatures up near 100 and seldom any rain in the summer. If you have any other questions, I will check back and see if I can answer them for you. I grew up near Lehi, but do not live there now, though my family still does. I have lived in 9 states and so I have a pretty good perspective of Utah as it relates to other States in America. Good Luck!!!
