The inversions usually do not get down as far as Payson and Santiquin. Also, there is alot of new develpoment going on in that end of the county. I grew up in Spring Lake and my parents still live there. My in-laws live in Santiquin. The view from their house is beautiful. You can see to the point of the mountain and the entire utah county valley on a clear day. It is about an hour plus to SLC and about 20-25 minutes to Provo. I think you should look into that end of the valley.

Canuck73 is on a distinguished road
I have never had headaches like I get since I moved here to Utah. I am in Orem and in mid January we had about 3 weeks of an inversion. It is ugly, it smells, it is NOT healthy and if I were you I would avoid it like the plague. For the record the inversion went from very Northern Utah to at least Provo. Yuk.
