Default Moving to Ogden area

Hi,

My husband just got a job there and we will be moving to the Ogden area in a month or two. I'm wondering if someone can address some of the good areas to live, especially taking schools into consideration. We have two young children and we're looking to buy a house and settle down for a long time, and I would like to find a good area with good schools. I would also love to find an older neighborhood, since I love old homes, but want to make sure it's a safe place of course.

I grew up in Utah County, so I'm familiar with Utah in general, but it's been years since I lived there...

Anyway, I'd appreciate any advice! Thanks!

Ok... maybe I should simplify my question...

Does anyone have any thoughts on schools in the Ogden area they'd be willing to share? Would be much appreciated.

I don't know much about the schools but north Ogden is really nice, or the very southern part. I would stay away of the central area, downtown etc.

I grew up in West Weber, just west of Ogden and somewhere in that area would be a very nice option. It is mostly farm communities and the people are very friendly. The school there is Fremont High School and is one of the best around. Try Utah Real Estate - Your One Stop Source for Searching Real Estate in Utah or the classifieds at ksl.com - Utah News, Sports, Weather and Classifieds. They are both very good for finding utah properties.
