Only in Utah... 3.2 beer only in the grocery stores, and you have to go to the State-owned liquor store to buy wine or decent beer.

ha ha...well thanks for offering. I will be back in 3 years, so I will keep your offer in mind, except I will be in St. George, so hopefully no snow to shovel

You know how people say "What's his face." -when they don't remember their name, well In Utah everyone seems to say "What's his bucket." I work with a lady from colorado who says that too, so maybe its a western thing.

You know how kids and sometimes adults say "it's like...what happened is.. Using "like" in front of sentences or in middle of sentences where it doesn't sound right. I just wondered if that is a Utah thing because I say it and not sure where I learned it, unless all kids do that and I learned it from my kids.

I have no idea where they got that from, but I was just discussing this with my kids at dinner tonight. Man, that bugs me..but I am a freak about grammar. I told them I had better not hear them speaking like that.
Another thing is saying, "so I am all like....", and "she's all (got her nose stuck in the air)"
The parentheses were used as an example statement...I'm all?! She's all?! It must be a Utah thing. I know I didn't speak like that when I was a kid.

Oh Lord, help us all...
I will have to ask my best friend who lives back east if her daughter speaks like that.
