Oh no, not just a UT thing. My husband and neighbor are getting out earlier and earlier each time it snows to beat the other one. And to make it worse, it is no longer "who ever is out first blows the others sidewalk" to be nice, now they will do the neighbors on the other side of each of us because "it's the nice thing to do" after I did the neighbors one time to the east of us who don't have a snowblower.

Before long they will be doing the whole block to prove who is the "nicer neighbor"

I have done the shoe dance as well, for youth conference and at church dances. Granted it was in this tiny town south of Albuquerque. I was always scared my shoe would stink, but I always got the anti social person who always came out of their lonely shell.

(sorry for the awful grammar my baby is sleeping on my arm)

Default Jello

When I moved to Utah I couldn't believe the amount of jello they ate...jello at every event in every shape, color and form. Reminded me of Ohio in the 60's. I wanted to compile a recipe book of Jello recipes from Utah. What do ya' all think?

Very true! I always thought jello was a dessert that was served in individual cups. Never with dinner! Never 2 different jello dishes! My aunt (in-law) brought a jello salad to Thanksgiving dinner once...we made fun of her (still do!) for 20 years!!

Now, don't tell anyone on the east coast, but I like jello salads! and I even have "my" own jello recipe!
