Only in Utah...
Lets start a thread where we can share things that happen, 'only in Utah'....they can be funny, serious, whatever.
I'll start, and add more as I think of them
You are at the drive thru and ask if they have fry sauce and their response is "it's already in the bag"

Funeral potatoes...........only in Utah. I was telling someone here in Oklahoma about them and they had never heard of them. Oh and that's another thing in Utah the phrases.....when you say thanks, the response is "you bet" That sorta drives me nuts. "oh my heck" is another. Inever used the you bet, but I have been known to say oh my heck. Here in Oklahoma its "have a blessed day"

Gotta love those funeral potatoes!! My DH is addicted to them!
You can tell where people live by which ward they attend...only in Utah. Oh and LDS lingo like wards and stakes are such commonplace that even non-members know what it is all about.

Tator tot casserole was the favorite dinner dish to make when I first moved there years and years ago.........not sure if people still make it. It was cheap and you could feed alot of kids.

What about jello cake....that is a Utah thing too. Bake a cake, poke holes in the top when it's hot and pour mixed jello (in liquid form) in the holes then frost....a favorite dessert

Not just a Utah thing...wayyyy back when, about 30+ years ago, my mom made it for my birthday..she still does, come to think about it. It is my favorite kind of cake. We were living in New York at the time.
