Smile MONTH LONG STAY IN PARK CITY for an Australian plzz help.

Greetings from Australia!

My son will be arriving in Park City in around 2 weeks to train on the skeleton track. He is self funded athlete from Australia and as such cannot afford hotel style prices for accommodation. We are searching the internet for affordable accommodation, and I came across your 'extended stay' rooms and noted the price of $44.99 per night in a studio apartment. This is still too expensive for him but I am wondering if he stayed around a month would you be able to provide a cheaper rate? If not, would you be able to advise some other establishment in Park city? He really needs to stay in Park city because he wont have a vehicle to travel back and forth from SLC - unless of couse there is a reliable public transport system? He would take most kinds of accommodation including backpackers, homestay etc. He just needs to be near his training facility and coach.

Can you help us with any advice, its so hard doing this from thousands of miles away? Also, what is an acceptable nightly rate without meals for student?

With kind regards and many Happy New Year wishes

Park City is one of the most expensive areas in Utah. You might try here
craigslist: salt lake city classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events
Good Luck!
