Default looking at moving to SW Utah

We like the sounds of Cedar City but the land prices are kinda high. Any other place in SW Utah similiar but with lower land valves?

We moved to Cedar City 2 years ago thinking to purchase a home, but arrived in the latter end of the high housing market. Prices are just now starting to come down. We have looked, but have not found any other place that is any lesser in price unless you move to a very small town, like Milford, or....As we need the availability of good jobs and dont want to drive very far, Cedar has been good on that end. It was even hard to find a good rental.

Are you looking for just land? I have been watching home prices, they are dropping, more like adjusting. There are plenty of homes around 200k, townhouses and duplexes start at 129k. If you need to stay close to Cedar look at Enoch. a little farther, Parowan, Kanarraville. Milford. If you want cheap, undeveloped, look at Beryl. Depends if you need schools, jobs, stores, etc.
