Default Driving from Provo to Green River

I'm going to spend a week skiing at Powder Basin/Snow Mountain, then heading to Snowmass CO for another week. I'm looking at my map and trying to decide if it's worth saving the 70 or so miles of I15 by cutting from Provo, down 6 to 191 to Green River, or just taking 15 down to Scipio.

Any recommendations. Obviously the weather conditions that day might make a difference.

Thanks

Yeah, definitely take the US 6/US 191 shortcut. The way they built I-70's route makes Salt Lake to Colorado travel pretty inconvenient and US 6/191 is pretty well-maintained so I see no reason why not to take the shortcut.
