Looking For A Subdivision With Very Young Families & Kids (Provo: how much, new home)

Me and my husband are 25 years old and have a 2 year old and a newborn, are are looking to buy a new home. Are there any areas we could move and almost be guaranteed that lots of people on our block will have babies and young kids for our children to play with? We are LDS and want a nice conservative area. Maybe even a newer subdivision with a swimming pool, since we are moving from Florida and our 2 year old can already swim very well. We are thinking about Spanish Fork, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Lehi, Eagle Mountain or Saratoga Springs. My husband will work in Provo. Where should we start to look for houses? There are almost too many places to get started, help!

There are tons of areas with little children. How much are you looking to spend on a new home?

We are looking to spend no more than $250,000

Although I am not from Utah County, I do know from experience that if you were to buy in a new development, young families with lots of children seem to appear. So, while I can't tell you specifically which neighborhood would be best, I do have a list of new home developments by Ivory Homes that might help.

I think, and someone please correct me if I am wrong, that the areas in which you will find younger families would be Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain. That isn't to say that you won't find them in the other cities, but those are the "newer" towns and many young families were buying down there because of the lower cost of homes at the time.

Utah County is very conservative. No worries there...you will be okay wherever you live.
