Default Lake Powell - Best Lodging

For anyone who has been to Lake Powell and stayed at one of the resorts that are lakeside or even in Page....which hotel is the nicest? I would love to find one with a boat launch as well. Thank you!!!!

IMO, the nicest one is right at the Waweap Marina. I can promise you though that staying there will be expensive. Be prepared for "sticker shock" if you want a room there.

Because of the price, I would just recommend that you stay somewhere in Page and not right at the Marina. People usually stay at the Marina because they think it will be much more convenient, but Page really isn't inconvenient either. There are a bunch of hotels and restaurants, all with places to park your boat and stuff, and you're not really taking away tons of precious time by staying there. You'll certainly want to get your gas there, if not somewhere in southern Utah.

The above comments are correct - if you have your own boat then the Wahweap Marina would be the best bet - however - if you are looking to rent a boat as we did - we rented one from Skylite in Big Water - and towed it to the Stateline about 7 miles away and launched there - we stayed at a great bed and breakfast called Dreamkatchers - great price and included a huge breakfast to last us all day - wonderful views of the area.
