Default Questions about Utah

As I said in a previous post, we are thinking about moving to Park City this summer. I haven't yet gotten many replies to my specific Park City questions yet, so I thought I would ask some more general questions about the larger area...One is about the inversion, I had never heard of it until I read a previous post, I just want to know how it effects people in the area with asthma...if we lived in the mountains would it be an issue at all? Do people with breathing problems seem to have more trouble with the altitude? Also if anyone is familiar with Colorado, could you tell me what the main similarities and differences are as far as culture, politics, etc. between Utah and Colorado? Do there seem to be many people from Texas who move there? Any information at all would be great~Thanks!

The inversion is a deterioration of air quality when the air stagnates in the valleys. So mountain locales like Park City are not afflicted. I'm not too familiar with Colorado, so can't help much there. I do know a couple of Texans, including the director of my MBA program. But they are no more predominate than people from other states. I myself grew up in the midwest.
