Check my location - Pot is all but legal here.
While you're at it, check my local paper - 75% of the DUIs on the road also have marijuana in the car.
Check the court reports too, all of the meth busts also have significant amounts of weed on hand.
Look how many folks are out of work because they can't pass a urinalysis.
It might be "the world's oldest healing plant..." or whatever, but it does exactly nothing for your judgement - or your lifestyle.

If you aspire to mow my lawn, by all means, keep smoking. I'm moving down there in 2 months, I'll need someone to clean up after my dog.

News story Utah.................

The southern Utah town of Big Water (pop. 326), hard by the Arizona state line on US Highway 89, doesn't make the news too often.
It doesn't have much of a crime problem.
But when a sleepy town council, prodded by a libertarian-leaning member, passed an ordinance mandating a $10 fine for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana,
it got both media attention and a sudden, unwelcome police presence. Now, under pressure, the council is ready to reverse itself.............

Rest of the story................
have you ever been to big water you can litteraly walk across that place in a day you dont even know your in big water tell you have well passed it

I can say yes he has a great positive out look on what we can do and how we can react but the truth is children, WEED isnt americas top priority. Why you pot heads push the issue so hard when there is much MUCH more important issues I.E. child abuse animal abuse drug abuse poor education poverty starvation a huge homeless population and this is all in your home state. Yes you do have a voice but try using it on something that *****ing matters. When every one who has the choice to smoke weed. When we all have the money and the food to decided weather or not we want to smoke weed this is when i think that this issue should be brought apon!

You make statements such as:
Did you know Henry Ford's first cars where made of hemp and fueled by hemp?

But if it were legalized do you plan on fueling you car with hemp? I'm guessing not....

And if you were sick enough to need it to cure an illness then I'm guessing that would be somewhere where you can use it for medical purposes.

So why do you want it legalized?

Utah is basically run by the mormons because they are the leaders who make decisions. It seems that most people who live there are looking for a pure way of life (whether other people can understand that or not). So why mess with that? There are 49 other states you could live in that could possibly legalize the stuff. Why knock the entire state of Utah for wanting to say no? I'm moving there soon (for a job) and if I don't like it then I will leave.... you could do the same.
------------------

You guessed wrong again I would definitely fuel my car with hemp if it was readily available and and so would many others.

If the government would have left it alone back then the technology would have been even more developed today.

You don't live here and make the mistake of assuming that the Mormon's run Utah but it's only influenced by there vote as anyone else's vote and yes there in office and if there influence was bias is would be greatly challenged.

Pure way of life, wtf are you talking about?
Utah has the highest use of pharmaceutical in the Nation, read up, pure?
State liquor stores are the biggest money makers in the state with more stores planed
O and "if you don't like it leave BS", weak.

Utah would still probably be last. There are already attempts in Idaho to legalize pot and an advisory council has been formed.
