Default Saratoga Springs Commute

I am a teacher interviewing for a position at the new Saratoga Springs Elementary School. My husband commutes to West Jordan, so living in Saratoga Springs is really not an option because of the traffic problems. We are considering living in Lehi, and I would commute to Saratoga Springs to teach. This route is opposite of the major traffic flow.

I'm looking for locals to answer this question: Is this a realistic plan? Is driving INTO Saratoga Springs in the morning pretty clear? Or will I be stuck in traffic for hours that direction as well?

That time of the morning, from Lehi, it would take you about 5-10 minutes, depending on road construction. I live in SS and commute to Draper, taking the back roads to the freeway, it takes me 25 minutes to get to work, going with all the traffic.....
