Default Ideal place in Utah Price

We're planning on moving to Utah later this year. Doing a bit of travel in the next few months. As far as best buy for real estate, safe area and good transportation access, where do you suggest. Enjoy the city, but active mountain people. I must be looking for perfection. Florida is just becoming crowded, ugly, and unaffordable. Any ideas? Not interested in west valley, south salt lake area. Any ideas? thanks for responding!

Check the other threads for more information on specific locations in and around the SLC area.

I would recommend looking at property in East Salt Lake (East Millcreek, Cottonwood, Avenues, Holiday, Sandy, and Draper Areas) if you want to be close to the city and a reasonable distance from the airport.

Park City is a beautiful city, but you will pay a premium to live up there and if you work in SLC then the trip everyday can be dangerous in the summer and winter (I-80). Cheaper realestate can be found in the city of Heber (outside of Park City).

Bountiful, Centerville, and Farmington are also really nice places to live as long as you stay near the mountains. They refer to the areas near the mountains as "the benches."

I hope this helps!
