Coming to Utah next week!
I'll be flying into SLC on Wed., driving to Kanab the next day to spend a couple of days at Best Friends, and then driving to Torrey to horseback ride for six days in the Capitol Reef area with Hondoo outfitters. I've been to B.F. before, but never to the country on a horse! I think Hondoo will be excellent, and I'm much looking forward to it. I do worry about the rural/tourist businesses. I gather business is way off and I hope people can make it through until some improvement.
I am bringing plenty of Loratadine and Zyrtec for those pesky chenopods, although I think they're worse in August/Sept. I guess it's Russian thistle, pigweed, anything in tumbleweeds. Found that out the hard way last time.
Where I live, the sun has been out exactly twice in June, and it's been close to 100% humidity since Memorial Day- it's the gloomiest June on record. I loathe humidity- can't wait to breathe that dry air!
