Alexei,

That's a good thing to be afraid of. Automobile accidents are probably the most common cause of accidental deaths and injuries.

It always amazes me when I read posts or hear from people who have great fears about "what's in the water" that they drink or living near radiation that is supposedly stored nearby. I'm sure these things are not good for us, but they pose very slight statistical risks. Even more so, if they were serious problems we'd know it. People would be dropping dead all around us.
