Default wanting to spend the summers in Washington

Hi,
My husband and I plan to spend the summers in Washington and by that I mean May-Oct "ish".

We eventually will buy a place, but for this year, we would just like a short term lease so we have a chance to look around. We used to live in Beaverton and Hillsboro so those areas are familiar. But we want WA, as there is no income tax for our situation.

I found what I thought was a nice apt. complex, Crystal Creek Apartments in kind of the Hazel Dell/Minnehaha north area.

Any comments? Suggestions?

We also have a cat and boxer dog. Don't understand why in the world would a boxer be on the restriction list, but oh well.

I can relate to wanting to spend the summers in Washington. As someone who lives in Miami, I had the opportunity to stay in Washington for almost a month. WOW! it felt nice escaping the brutal South Florida heat and enjoying the gorgeous temperature and scenery out west. In fact, I am planning on returning this year to the Seattle area and explore more of WA, and spend some time in Oregon. Hopefully I can stay longer than a month.

As far as searching for temporary apartment goes, you may want to check out craigslist and look under "temporary housing". I will be searching and sending emails, making calls in about 1-2 months as I plan for my trip out west this year again. Good luck.
