Default Brush Prairie-- what's it like

I haven't seen anything about Brush Prairie? Can someone tell me about it? We're looking for an old home with a bit of land in an area that has a village feel to it. -- No strip malls, no apartment buildings, no meth labs, lots of nature.

Tired Mama,
I'm not sure, are you talking about the Bush Prairie neighborhood of Tumwater? If so then there would be lots of nature, ponds and trails. Most of the homes there are fairly new though, and also fairly high priced. The community is close to the Olympia airport and you'll have to get used to the sound of airplanes flying overhead, however, these are mostly small aircraft.
I hope this info helps.

Sandy

Its really small, not really a complete town, but variety of home types in close proximity. no apartments that I know of. Mostly rural, flat , blackberries and trees. Hills ~ 5 Miles east, streams nearby
I'd recommend it, no guarantees on the 'No-Meth", but it shouldn't be a big issue.
Soils are good for gardening there, and lots of 'u-pick' farms nearby.

We had close friends just buy a '70's home with a shop on 3 acres near BP, it was pretty affordable, as was quite dated, but decent.

good schools in Hockinson ~ 3 miles NE (Apostolic Lutherans, prominent)
Meadow Glade is nice area (~3 mi NW of BP, 7th Day adventist academy)

Battleground is nearby, ~ 5 mi north (plenty of strip malls, but still decent)
