Default Polo Club Apartments? Vanc./HazelDell Ave.

Does anyone have any experience/opinions on this complex. I have read the reviews and they *are not* good, however DH is trying to convince me that they are fine (he has a friend who lives there).

Thanks.

From what I know of that complex, it isn't somewhere I'd choose to live. But, everyone has their own preferences for a home and living in an apartment no longer floats by boat, which I'm sure colors my opinion to some degree.

But I'd seriously reconsider residing in many neighborhoods of Hazel Dell, in general. Check out the crime stats on the Columbian newspaper website to get a real eye-opener. If you and your husband have your heart set on the area, just be exceedingly careful where you decide to live. There are some darling areas in Hazel Dell, and some others that look great but have a freakishly high crime rate. It might not be a bad idea to contact the local police precinct and ask them about their call rates to any prospective areas/complexes.

Also, you can get premise reports from the Clark County Sheriffs Office on any address in the county. Once you narrow your list down a bit, maybe request the reports from them for your top couple choices. That'll give you an idea of the current crime issues in the area. (I think the reports go back a year.) These can be exceedingly helpful.

Thanks.
Our niece has lived there for two years and has not had any concerns or problems.
