In Battle Ground we're seeing ash that looks like a light snow. Kids headed to school this morning with masks on. Such a shame that so much natural beauty including Multnomah Falls is burning because of a couple of teenagers with fireworks. Another 100 degree day on tap and no rain in the extended forecast.

Stealth, I hear it jumped the river in your roundabouts. How are things there?

A lot of ash comng down at my home in Camas since mid-afternoon yesterday. The sky looks so eerie with the thick blanket of smoke.

My heart goes out to those in the fire's path right now...I can't even imagine what that must be like.

Stay safe Stealth.

It's real messed up. I have a bunch of friends in Clark County and one whose family was evacuated last night at midnight. His home is located in Skamania, right off of SR14, on Butler Loop Rd. His home may very well be toast. Friends of mine in both Camas and Vancouver are saying the ash is like light snow.

We have a scattering of ash in Ridgefield. Stay safe, StealthRabbit. We came home from Trout Lake on Sunday via Hiway 14, but had no idea the fire would blow up so badly. We ate a leisurely lunch in Stevenson.
