Greetings!

My husband and I are moving to the Vancouver WA area this summer. We have two dogs (one's a pup) and we're looking for a good, reputable vet.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!!

Default Info on dogs

We have a Schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle) and a Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever/Poodle). They are really healthy and don't need a specialist, but becuase the Goldendoodle is a pup she will need to finish her vaccinations. So we are looking for a good, firendly vet.

Thanks for the reply!

I don't know if you're still reading the forum, but we live in Washington and take our dogs (we have Whippets, too, Lloyd!) and cats to Claus Paws Animal Hospital on Fourth Plain. It is on the eastern side of Vancouver, near Orchards. We have gotten great service and care there and they genuinely care about our pets and us.

My sister takes her German Shepherds to Orchards Veterniary Clinic, which is in the same general area but maybe one mile west (so it's still on the eastern side of Vancouver). The Orchards clinic is pretty popular.

Good luck!

Thumbs up Find a veterinarian at veterinarian-pages

You might want to try veterinarian-pages.com. It's an online directory that only posts websites and links of professional and reputable animal hospital websites. It's a pretty popular website, but I don't know if they have any veterinarians listed in your area. I hope that helps a little...good luck!

I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but I just tried this page and type in zip code and the closest vet that came up was in west linn. I was just about to post about a vet in the seattle section since we are moving up there in 2 weeks and thought I would try this first. So I guess I am off to post there now. oh BTW I have taken my dog to columbia vet now for the past 6 1/2 yrs now and they are good to her, but there is this smell that I don't smell at other vets that just bothers my dog and she hates to go...but other than that they have always been good to her and care for her well.

we've had good success here.

Companion Pet Clinics (near Chaklov and Mill Plain) SE Vancouver
11516 Se Mill Plain Blvd

(we just have outdoor farm dogs and cats that get pretty 'beat-up' from coyotes and "big cats" (cougars / bobcats).... no poodles, so your mileage may vary.)
