We know there are numerous Farmers Markets scattered around Clark County, wondering which markets are favorites, which is the largest, who has best variety of vendors, ability to park, entertainment, etc. A little late in the season but I think most of them are open through September. Thanks!

comprehensive list here

VFM is pretty good, and runs through 30 Oct,

Depends what you are looking for. There will be a lot of very good bazaars during the fall season (pre-Christmas)

Clark County is quite difficult for rules and regs, so vendors (and markets) spend a lot of time and money to stay licensed to sell.

It will be very nice if Heritage Farm (Old Clark County Poor Farm / WSU extension) gets to be used for local food production. Even better if they mentor youth and new farmers in the skills and technology of urban sustainable agriculture.

A fellow Clark County farmer allowed his berry / produce / Orchard operation to be used by immigrants while learning the language and settling into their new life. That was a good idea, (I should have done similar) but I sold to a family who thought they wanted to maintain the farm, but realized it was too much work, so let the commercial production cease.

Good luck, enjoy the many markets.
Do head to Woodburn / Silverton / Sandy / Boring / Swan Island for nearby produce options direct from grower.

Dahlia Farm in Canby is worth the trip (during Sept).

They are on different days and some of the same venders do all of them.

The downtown Vancouver one is the big one on weekends and most worth visiting for the scene. Plus lots of good food carts. It runs into late October and then they have a fall market that runs until about Christmas.

The Camas one is on Wednesday afternoons and fun because it is right downtown and you can walk around the other shops too. It runs until the end of September.

The East Vancouver one is on Thursdays (I think) and in the Vancouver Tech Center on Mill Plain sort of behind the Hopworks Brewery. I think it closed at the end of August. It is the least interesting.
