Default Camas: Jack, Will and Rob Club

Does anyone have any experience with sending their kids to the JWR Boys and Girls Club? I know it's a good deal if you sign up at the begining of the 'year' (Aug.) but I figure that if my kids enjoy it, it'll be worth the annual fees (13yo=free, 10yo=$20) just for the summer.

We did tour the facility, and it seems like a good place to hang out. What about supervision? Also, does anyone have kids who dropped out because there weren't "enough" kids there to hang-out with? My boys have never been to a B&G's Club or community center, so we don't really know what to expect.

And while we're at it....any opinions of the Camas Municiple Pool?

I just signed my daughter up for a couple summer camps at JWR but can't comment yet as they haven't started! The facility is impressive though and I've talked to other parents who were happy with it.

As for the public pool...I was there once last summer and wasn't really impressed (although I haven't been to many public pools ). It was very crowded and not very attractive....basically concrete slabs with some chain link fence around. I did like that they have a large pool plus a separate (very) shallow pool for younger kids.
