Default Best Place to Buy a Home to Host Events / Multi-Units

I was looking around realtor.com and some other websites and I see there are fairly large homes in the Battle Ground and Camas area. As I am considering relocating to Vancouver, I was curious to learn if those larger homes north of Mill Plain are too far away if I was to be hosting dinner and networking events. According to Google, it's about 18 miles from downtown Vancouver.

I was also curious about the area west of the railroad tracks near W 31st Street and Fruit Valley Road. How is that area? I was looking at some multi-residential units as well.

Thank you!!

M

If you like the "country feel" than Battle Ground is a good choice, but there are a number of other areas that are closer to town and in proximity to all conveniences. I prefer the East side of Vancouver because you are near everything and some areas are still secluded even though you are a stone throw's away from it all! I hope this helps...feel free to e-mail me if you need more specifics.

The Camas and Washougal area is easily assessable by Hiway 14. Battle Ground is assessable by mainly surface streets, they are building a new off ramp off of I-5 that will exit off towards Battle Ground.

As far as the w 31st st and Fruit Valley Road it is a less expensive area of the county and so rents will be lower as well. The investors that we work with seem to shy away from that area for that reason.
