sorry, I don't have pics, (dialup, pay by the byte). but see there are plenty via web search
Parks are plenty and nice, hiking close by (within the city via
or the Columbia Gorge or Portland) There are 2 nice Baseball parks in Camas + very nice High School field with 'artificial turf' (which is nice after playing a few seasons of soccer in the mud)
What are you looking for in a lake? (for your float plane? or Canoing / fishing / water skiing / swimming) LaCamas Lake is pretty popular for all of the above, and there are a few smaller ones, But Columbia River is adequate water as well. Washougal River flows through part of Camas and is the local splash / fishing activities.

Politics are healthy mix of both. Clark County has historically voted conservative, but it is changing and of little consequence since the liberal populous of 2 western WA counties rules the elections (which is really tough for business owners, farmers, ...) It is best to be an 'employee' and not worry about the burdensome regs that get voted in. The whole left coast is pretty liberal, tho WA is the least (in general). Oregon is much more difficult to deal with the political landscape. They are a tad 'radical', and you MUST embrace their special interests. They have HUGE ballots with lots of issues. Unfortunately WA is being drawn down the slippery slope, and the immigrants to WA are largely OR and CA ''ESCAPEES".
