Nah, Greenlabs, it's just that they keep frequently changing the extended forecasts.

Weatherunderground changed its extended forecast at 3:40PM today (Thursday) to all rain starting Tuesday night through Christmas day in the Vancouver area.

Vancouver, Washington (98660) Conditions & Forecast : Weather Underground

They said on the news the other day that this is the longest patch of weather this cold since the 1970s.

my wife had this theory that it got colder and colder in VC WA every year we lived there. Its sounds aweful there now. Its been wonderful here in Gilbert AZ, sunny most days around 65 degrees. We are going to get some much desired rain on monday.

I have lived in colorado, where the snow sticks around for 5 months. Its more tolerable there. don't let all those east coast folks tell you any different, when it snows in the Pac NW, its the most miserable cold in the USA, its a very wet snow, mixed in with freezing rain. In Denver, its a dry snow, like driving on sand. 30 degrees in Portland/vancouver feels like 3 degrees east of the Rockies.
