Default Looking for a good (inexpensive) hair stylist

Hi again all, as the title says...... we are new here to vancouver and have to look for all the services we need, one of them being a new hair person. I would really rather not drop $40.00 on just a haircut so can anybody recommend someone out there who does a good job for under that?? Also, are there any car wash's in Vancouver where you can just take your car for the detail type cleaning (not do-it-yourself kind)? Thanks

Default good hairstylist under $40

I recently complimented a woman on her great color (highlights/lowlights) and she told me she had just started going to a woman by the name of Fedhija at the European Hair Design. I made an appt. and got a haircut ($24!) that I absolutely adore, and will go back for color/highlights soon (she quoted me $75, which is very reasonable.) The shop is behind Elmer's, on Chakalov, near the intersection of Mill Plain and I-205. Phone # is 892-4904. I have previously used Teresa at Beautyfirst on 164th and she's great, but her haircuts are $40. I'm not sure of the spelling of her name, or the street, but the phone # is good. She is Bosnian and her name is pronounced Fed-ee-yah.

Good luck!
