right now me and my boyfriend are living in germany but we are planning on moving to
vancouver wa by sep 09.
what i sthe average cost of living for two people? i mean we already found a great apt
that will aprox. cost 700$ but we would like to know how much money we need (for
water, gas, elec. bill, internet, phone, car insurance food and so on) as of right now we dont
know where we will work at. i know its kinda a hard situation but we really dont see a future
in germany so thats why we are taking this step. i hope someone can help. and maybe u know
of jobs were they pay you good (were we could apply once we are there)
thanks

would 1800$ be enough money to live for two people?

Too many variables:
How much is rent?
What other bills/debts?
What kind of commute (gas) expenses?
What are the grocery and eating out expenses?
Are you willing to perhaps change your lifestyle to make it work?

An easy start would be to figure out the bills both of you have (credit cards, student loan, car payments, etc.) Subtract that from the mothly income, to see where you stand. Some people don't have any 'outside' bills, and that could make a big difference.

Depending on where you stand, I would say you *COULD* do it, but would you *WANT* to?

(I can't see where I can edit my last post??)

I just wanted to point out that when I wrote it, the OP had yet to be edited, and only asked the last two questions. Obviously there is now more information given.

mod interpose: Sorry, I merged some of the OP's threads into one so she could take her responses in one thread instead of having several discussions going in numerous threads on the same subject. It was done without taking into consideration your response. (you only have 90 minutes to self-edit your own post). Thanks!
