Default What are some things to do and see in the vancouver area?
My family and i are taking a road trip to Seattle, and we will be staying in Portland/Vancouver area for a few days and i was just wondering what are some things to do there?
And if you happen to know, also a few things to do/see on the way.
We're driving from Albuquerque, NM, and leaving this coming Tuesday.

Specific dates? (very helpful in specifying required attire, special events, and flowering seasons)
indoor, outdoor activities?
Cultural / educational?
scenic / exciting?
Mtn / water (Vancouver has both)

Does your time include Portland?
