Default Info on North Clark County

I have taken a job in the Battle Ground area, and am looking to move to Clark County. My family and I like a small town/country setting. We have a young child so schools, parks and playgrounds are important. I have heard bad things about Yacolt and Amboy... Meth problems is this true? How are Ridgefield, Hockinson, Woodland, and Washougal? We are a single income family looking to rent and eventually buy. Any information would be great, thanks.

I have lived in CC for 30 years, and I would avoid Yacolt and Amboy. It is changing, but not as fast as the rest of the area has. I am a Realtor also, and if you are interested, I can send you some information. Battle Ground is a really nice area, Rents? Not much to choose from Washougal? Some rentals
Ridgefield is good, but not many apts.
Would like to help you if you have more info I can work with.
signed, nouveautes

not to say yacolt and amboy are not nice, but really limited in facilities and low end on school ratings.
