Default What are those foothills over there with snow on them?

I live in North Vancouver. Looking east and a little north, there are foothills way over .... there... that have a little snow on them. Is that Camas, or over/above Camas?

Likely it's Silver Star Mountain, a little granodiorite ridge (only granite in a couple hundred miles). Local gardening lore says "never plant tomatoes until Silver Star is free of snow."

There are two Silver Star Mountains in Washington, btw: yours is in Skamania County. The other is in the North Cascades, up in Okanogan County.

And two Larch Mtns !! (one in Oregon,) very near... just to the north of Mt Hood and visible from WA and the gorge, yes it has snow down to ~2,000 ft yesterday (18 Nov) today snow level is back up to ~2500 - 3000'

You can see both Larch mtns from Camas / Washougal on SR14 (near Port office / Burger King)
