I'm an American..went to culinary school in Van for a year. I dream of moving back to live. I'm considering a career change and am looking into PsyD or MA psychology programs. Can you recommend one in Van, at least based upon reputation? Does anyone know about Adler? Unfortunately, it seems UBC only has a PHD (not a PsyD) program.

Remember Vancouver and its greater area only has two million people and two universities! It sounds like you should be looking to the Bay Area or such if you want Adler psy. and west coast attitude to go with it.
UBC can be hit and miss in its' departments: some set an industry standard. It's particularly good in the more solid sciences and my son started this year.

You won't find a PsyD program in Vancouver. PsyD programs are very new in Canada and there is only a handful of programs ( I think only 3) in the whole country.

How about MA programs? I believe Adler and Simon Fraser offer them.
