any advice? tips?

would be flying in Thursday/early Friday from JFK arriving in Vancouver around 1am and departing on a red eye on Monday night back to NY.

would be looking to stay downtown, probably at Le Soleil, Metropolitan or Coast Coal.

is that a long enough time to explore? prices seem reasonable for hotel but flight is about $600 roundtrip.

thoughts?

Rent bikes and ride the sea wall around stanley park, hit Granville Island and check out the market, go for a hike in the north shore mountains or go to the Capilano suspension bridge for an easier experience of the mountain environments of the city, maybe rent kayaks and the false creek rec centre, do high tea at the Shngri-la or Hotel Vancouver, maybe hit the Museum of Anthropology at UBC for the unique collection of aboriginal art housed there. Just random stuff there, what interests you, what drew you to the city?
