Where can I buy bulk foods / organic foods at the cheapest possible price in Vancouver? It seems that even regular bulk food aisles are inflated prices, and I feel there must be some neighbourhood stores with deals (?)

Try Superstore or Walmart... You'll have to bag your own groceries at Superstore, wait in line for 1/2 an hour, and the cleanliness of the stores might leave a little to be desired (esp. Superstore) but the prices are indeed lower...

Ask some of the larger health food stores, .. talk with someone in their produce dept and ask if they know of a wholesaler you might buy from. Used to hear about one in south vancouver somewhere, but can't remember where exactly or the name of it.

You could also try some of the organic home deliveries, give a call and see if you can buy from them. I know of one in North Vancouver who open their warehouse every Sat to the public and their prices are more reasonable .. Organics to You?? .. something like that ..

There's a great bulk food shop on the West Side at 41st Ave near Dunbar, called Weigh to Go. I'm not sure how much organic foods they have, though. choices probably has organics but they are generally not bulk foods.
Hope this helps.

Default organics

Try Famous Foods on Kingsway. It has bulk organic and the pricing makes sense. Curious to know what you think if you do try it.

Commercial drive prices are fairly real. The have the volume and a large enough group of people buying; the original "organic" food co-ops were all based near here back in the day.
I find some locations on the north shore good in the small stores if you keep your eyes open. Big stores overhead here is outrageous, but it's not because they pay anything to their employees.
Bulk wise you cannot do better than go down to the East Indian stretch of Fraser Street. Are you buying for one or a crew? What justifies the long trip?
Just recently there are a number of government grants that have started up home delivery organics groups and that list is available from the service organizations in your city.
