What's fun in Vancouver?
A friend asked me this question yesterday and I almost couldn't answer it. I've lived in Vancouver before but that was a long time ago so I don't really remember,
But what's fun to do in Vancouver? I mean stuff to do if you live in Vancouver, and not just the touristy stuff, but stuff to do on weekends or with friends.

This time of year: Wreck Beach. Take $100 with you and enjoy the recreational drugs AND the views!
Winter: Main & Hastings. Take $100 with you to enjoy the recreational drugs and head over to Stanley Park and take in the views.

I just came back from vacation in Vancouver, it was in the W. Vancouver area. I stayed in Horseshoe Bay where one of the BC Ferries meet to take you to Victoria. I didn't go on the ferry, but it's an option for someone who wants to take a little tour around the area via ferry, or even to visit Victoria.
I'm just realizing this is an old post too.

Well, I'm a Vancouver local who is a tourist attraction reviewer for the Vancouver Travel Guide online, and there are many things to do in Vancouver, but many mun things in Vancouver are tourist related. But here's my take on Vancouver fun...
Stanley Park
West Vancouver Seawall
Grouse Mountain
Robson Street
Pacific Centre
See a show at the Commodore Ballroom
Or take a trip to Granville island at eat at the 'big yellow restaurant'
