Default Looking to move from Las Vegas To Vancouver....

I am a Iraq war veteran that is looking to find a better place to live and raise my family. I am a student and my fiance is a full time worker, i am wondering if you fine folks can let me know how difficult t is for and American to move up to Vancouver?
I am disabled veteran so i dont work full time. I receive a retirement check from the Air Force, and together with what my fiance make we live very well. We like the way of life in Vancouver from what we see, and would love to be your new neighbors.

Any info you all can provide would be great. Basically, is it common and easy for Americans to come and live in Canada. I want to work hard and be a member of your country. I would be interested in becoming a Citizen if possible, as i love the peaceful nature of your country.
Thank you in advance.

Duncan.

The place to start is the Citizenship and Immigration Canada web site Welcome Page | Page d'accueil

You'll find all the various immigration options and requirements there.

Is it common and easy for US citizens to move to Canada?

It certainly isn't unheard of, but the Canadian immigration system makes no special allowances for Americans. It really depends on what immigration category you happen to fit.

Good luck.
