i'll be attending camosun college in september and just thought i'd seek out some advice, to sorta make my transition into victoria.. at least sorta
smooth.

i'm sorta nerves on moving. i'm from southern ontario.

which neighbourhood should i focus my room hunt in?
are there any student coops in town?

(i'd prefer to live in a more authentic part of town - downtown/working class/mixed incomes/diverse - do these even exsist? (ie: toronto's parkdale, montreal's ndg or vancouver's commercial drive))

where should look for roomates? (i normally use craigslist)

how much will basics like soy milk cost me? (i pay 3.99ish1L) (silly question?)

any advice???
..fingers crossed.
