We had a wonderful meal in "The Smoking Dog" French Bistro last time we stayed in Kitsilano. Casual, friendly and efficient service and excellent food.
My fav dating restaurant in Kits is The Eatery, creative *** fusion.
It's always a good dinner place for dates, esp if it's early on in the relationship.
The decor & food's special enough to make it an "occasion" different from your typical dinner
but the place has a great vibrant vibe and it's edgy so it's not too formal. It's hip so it usually helps injecting more energy and fun vibe.
But it can get a bit noisy sometimes.
