I'd heard about this, and then saw it at my local grocery store a few days ago. I like Silk's soymilk, but their almond milk is just too sweet for my taste. I love fresh coconut milk (you know, where you crack open the coconut and slurp out the juice), but I'm not sure how that would translate to a milk-like beverage.

Silk PureCoconut

Has anyone tried it? Would love your feedback .....

Yea I just discovered it too. I am not and never was a milk drinker. Don't eat cereal so therefore never have the need for any milk. But I always loved to poke holes in a coconut and drink the coconut water. I also buy the coconut water drinks that are usually sold in the Mexican isle in the grocery store. Strange too because I'd rather starve then eat disgusting Mexican food.

Then I saw silk milk. It really is like a milk rather then a water. It surely goes down like silk. I actually drink it now. At 80 calories per cup I just do a small glass per day at most though.

I LOVE it. It's not at all like canned (or fresh) coconut milk, it's made into a more beveragey consistency and is delicioso!!! Very mild, not thick and sweet, but still works for thai cooking. I buy it to drink and still put some in stir-fry and it works great.

Can't remember if it was silk coconut milk brand or not, also can't quite remember why I wasn't impressed. Could have been the $6 price tag, that I do remember!

Like you guys, love fresh coconut milk and it just wasn't up there in my opinion. Also, may be wrong, but think it had too many additives, one being sugar.

Got used to organic non-sweetened almond milk in granola and smoothies and prefer it to the coconut milk in the carton.

I love it. I have SO Delicious in my fridge right now and it's especially yummy w/cereal..gives it a bit of an exotic flavor. It was also on sale for 3.19 at my local organic food store. SOLD. lol

I love the almond milks as well. Depends on which is on sale as to which I'll buy because they aren't cheap normally.

I'm scared to hear where you shop. It's $3.49 in any quality grocery store near me.
