As long as you aren't eating them though...right?

There is a huge disconnect between the average manicured, domestic know-nothing and the harsh reality connected to the products they use on a daily basis. I guess it's simply easier to point the finger at those who are, whether you agree with their dietary methods or not, actually honest about it.

It's pretty simple, really. Eating grass fed beef causes the death of approximately 1 animal per 5 beef eaters annually (assuming the consumption rate of a 1/2 pound per day). Unless you personally hand-cultivate each plant from seed, your eating nothing but vegetables causes the death, injury, or displacement of scores of creatures on an annual basis. In order for you to live as you do in this modern age, something else with a fuzzy face will die. Your dietary beliefs are of little consequence in that arena.

....either you are surrounded by and/or have succumbed to the lower intelligence beings within your little circle. Give people a little...just a little more credit and you will find most are not as unknowing as you suspect them to be.

Choices can be a funny thing. Some people don't like to make them....others can't. I grew up on a huge farm and there is a way to do things and a way not to....it's about choices. It's about each of us making the choice that works for us to sleep good at night.

Personally, I CHOOSE to buy cruelty-free products because that's how I live my life as I and MANY others are aware of how products get to us.

I saw all the angry posts on Facebook and other sites... right away I thought it kind of strange coming from the same people that eat steaks and hamburgers etc. every day and the ones that just posted about their turkey dinners ...
