Anyone out there familiar with this amazing stuff? It's loaded with so much whole unprocessed grain in the dough, plus they then cover the outside when the bread's done, so that it looks more like a grain feeder block you'd set out near your wild songbird feeder!

Dave apparently got his inspiration for his "killer" bread while in the slammer for somethin' or other. His family had a history of making commercial bread, and he came back from the slammer to take it over. Glad he "found bread" and not God while he had the time to contemplate our combined place in this glorious Universe, like so many of the boys in there seem to do. After all, yah can't eat a Psalm, now can you?

Anyhow, it's magnifico, esp. when it's toasted, and well yeah; dribbled with a tad-bit of local organic honey! YUMMM!

It's our #1 favorite! We were able to get Dave's killer bread at costco in Anchorage.

definately going to look for this. I'd never heard of it before.

I've recently tried the Sierra bread which is made in the the same region I think. It's really good and I like eating local.

adding DKB to my list. thanks!

I'm finding it in Costco in the lower 48 too now. Great bread!
