Being a vegetarian doesn't mean that you will be slim. If your diet consists of processed foods, like donuts, ice cream etc. you will still be overweight. I think a lot of vegetarians tend to be more health conscious than the average person, so they eat healthier, less processed foods and less sugar... but there ARE fat vegetarians.

No, fat vegetarians do not exist. The laws of caloric intake vs. expenditure of calories do not exist in a vegetarian diet.
Look at this stuff. If you were a vegetarian you could eat these goodies all day long, sit on your couch, watch tv....AND you'd never gain an ounce! It's magic!
Most from Black Sheep Bakery, Portland Oregon. (PS: the chef is skinny, which proves my point)
A vegetarian diet can CURB the craving for slop snacks. I bake a lot, and eat a great deal. The ingredients make the difference. QUALITY beats quantity any day. Refined carbohydrates are basically useless. There are healthy cheesecake recipes. I made a zucchini cake yesterday, and it's like a meal in itself. A small quantity of high quality is the rule in my house, and I never gain an ounce. 95 pounds average, all my life. High energy, too. You are what you eat.

That's exactly my point.
If you eat big, you will be big.
If you eat little, you will be little.
Of course we should all constantly strive to raise the quality of our lives, and this includes the quality of the food we eat.
The question was about fat vegetarians. If you knew the answer to that you'd know the answer to your own question, wouldn't you ~ BTW, the pics of the desserts are all vegan.
